Getting Inspired
Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008I’ve been thinking a lot about Valentine’s Day lately. I am writing a post about how to write a love letter and it’s really getting me all mushy-gushy. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 12 years and I’m at the point now where I can’t imagine my life without him. We are truly a family. We no longer choose to be together, we just are together and it feels amazing.I haven’t been able to craft in a few weeks and it’s really starting to bum me out quite a bit. I need to unpack at least a few things to work on so I feel more inspired. I have been reading some really interesting blog posts that are keeping me going until my craft space is functioning again. I love Tim Holtz and I think it’s starting to boarder on obsession with his blog. I can’t wait to see what he’s up to everyday. There are some amazing artists in the scrapbook world. I am also reading a new magazine that my hubby found called “Before & After.” The latest issue has some really great digital photo tips. The cover caught my eye because the title reads “Scrapbook-style photo.” Inside there are more wonderful articles about logotype and design ideas. It’s perfect to get your design juices flowing. This is a short post and no pictures (boooo!) I have a goal to unpack my craft room this weekend because I am going to my Stampin’ Up group meeting on Sunday and I’m the hostess!!!
Fun goodies for me, I can’t wait. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy! (ok, I know that’s soo 1992, but what can I say?)Later!
