How beautiful are all the new Stampin Up In Colors? I’m slowly getting all of them. The papers, ribbon and the ink colors all match so perfectly! I made these little altered journals as easy birthday gifts. I found the blank journals at Target. They are so perfect because they included a pen. SUPER CUTE! The front and back are covered in patterned paper and then I added the ribbon to finish the edge. It’s very easy and simple and the results are amazing.As part of the gift set, I created this card. The front is made with patterned paper and chipboard of course! Chipboard is my favorite accessory these days. It’s so easy to customize and create with.For the inside of the card, I used some left over handmade paper I found at one of those little paper stores. I’m sure you can find the papers at an art supply store or Michaels.One of the reasons I thought these journals from Target were so great was because they came with a little pen, so I took the left over paper and ribbon and altered the pen too! I hope this gives you a great little Christmas gift idea.

I have been in Atlanta visiting friends as they prepare for the stork to deliver their little girl.  I went to a lovely baby shower and then we all watched Chad play tennis.  It was chilly! Thank goodness there was a bon fire.  I haven’t been to a bon fire in years.  I only wish I hadn’t forgotten my camera.It’s good to spend time with friends and think about their growing family. I wanted to give her something extra special.  Here’s a picture of the little album I made for her.  I used my new Inque stamps and lots of glitter!  She doesn’t want to be one of those moms that covers her daughter in pink so I used soft blue, green and lavender.I am totally in love with the all the Inque stamps!  They stamp really well and all of the designs are so creative and different.Have a wonderful Turkey week! So my friend has been asking me to make  a card for his girlfriend.  I love this card, I hope she does too. They moved to Miami in April and she is really missing the fall season.  I sometimes miss the colors of fall too.  I hope to see some fallish weather this weekend when I head to Atlanta for my friend’s baby shower.  I can’t wait!  Then it’s just a few weeks before Thanksgiving.  We haven’t been to Ohio in nearly a year.  I am looking forward to seeing my family.
